Southern Saints 2008 Season News

Southern Saints F.C.  pre-season training allocation will commence the week beginning 6th April and conclude 17th April  as follows:
 

We must adhere to the following guidelines: 

• Only moulded sole boots permitted during training i.e. Grass cats, blades or runners.
• No screw studded boots are permitted.
• Rotate training drills across the whole ground to avoid wear and tear in the same places.
   

Season training allocations will be forwarded to clubs in the week of the 13 April which will commence on the week of the 20 April 2009 ONLY

Message from Craig Geehman, outgoing President, 2008

As the outgoing President I would like to thank all that have supported me and wish Keano and the new committee the best of luck for the 2009 season.

Anyone not present at the AGM and would consider being on the committee, it's not too late especially the new guys at the club, please contact Keano on 9551 6905 or Kerrie on 0408 383 770.

As a Club if we are to take the next step and win another flag we need to grow together and be committed as a group. That means supporting social events! I look forward to a positive turn out for the Presentation Day Sunday 9 November.

Southern Saints selects new committee for 2009 season. 

At the AGM held on Thursday 16 October 2008 the following appointments where decided.

President - Keano, Vice President - Kerrie, Treasurer - Garth
Secretary - Youngy, General Committee - Louy, Smithy, Knighta, Fenno, Pete Duncan, Willo, Mickey Ashkar
Director of Sponsorship - General, Director of Social Events - Foges and Verms.

National Carnival, Darwin NT, 28 Sept - 4th Oct 2008

Congratulations to the Southern Saints boys that went to the 2008 National Carnival, and made All Australian for their respective teams. General, Jarvo, Joffa, Rayo. Details

Held at 12 noon at 7 Heather st, Bentleigh Eastpoints. Minutes of the AGM and Treasurer's report circulated.
